paris welcomes the amazing parisian
chantal édith bouvier.
my full name is chantal édith bouvier. my mother chose my first name because she liked it, one can only assume. i was given my second name, édith, for my father's grandmother, who had passed on a month before my birth. my father tells me that she had a big impact on his life, and he wanted to pay homage to her. i do not have any complaints in regards to my name, nor do i have any particularly common nicknames. those who knew me when i was very small will affectionately call me brucie on occasion, as i refused to answer to any other name when i was about six years old, and was convinced that i was fairy. brucie was my fairy name, don't ask me why. [/ul]lets start with the basics, shall we? tell me all about the name thats being whispered all around paris as we speak.
remind me again, what was the name of that lovely town you grew up in?
brilliant. and for how long have you been gracing this world with your presence?
and now, can you to tell us what brought you to paris?
amazing story. and now, tell us all about the people you call family. they must be amazing, considering they're related to you.
my mother is celia bouvier (nee desmarais). she's in her fifties as well, and doesn't earn a living. she doesn't have to, as she came from money, and my father is from money. however, that doesn't mean she doesn't work. my mother is involved with many committees for many different charity organizations. she plans fundraisers and galas and that kind of thing. she actually devotes a lot of time to her work, and gets rather frantic when dates of events draw near. my mother and i have never really seen eye to eye with each other. she'd the type of woman who thinks she's right all the time. she'd not above taking jabs at me for anything i do. she's very opinionated on the way i live my life, and is always pushing me to make decisions she approves of.
i have two elder brothers. marc is twenty-seven, and works with my father. marc has always been my protecter, being six years my senior. he tends to be the stereotypical elder brother and tries to intimidate any boy i spend my time with. we get along fairly well, although he is like my mother in the sense that he thinks he knows what's best for me, and pushes me to make certain decisions. he's married now, and has a two year old daughter, aurelie, with his wife marie. my other brother, nicolas, is twenty four. he is working for my father also. out of all my family, nic is probably the one i get along with best. we've been very close ever since we were little; he's a bit of a shy one, and i've taken it upon myself to find him the right lady for him. thus far, the attempt has been unsuccessful.
i suppose my fiancé ought to be included in this as well, as he will one day be my family. his name is wentworth ames, and we've been together for ten months - engaged for four of them. our parents introduced us, marriage being their intentions. truthfully, i fell for wentworth rather quickly, despite the fact that he can be a real piece of work most of the time. and i don't mean that in a good way. i suppose i'm happy with him. things ought to run a little more smoothly after we're married, i think.[/ul]
what are the three words that define you?
if you could be anyone you wanted for a day, who would you be?
name two things you simply can't live without.
