Within this board lay the must reads regarding the site, such as rules, the plot and member groups. I know that they are boring to read, but it is advisable to read them before you join, just to make sure that everything about the site is clear in your head.

The second place to check before joining, because this is the board where you will find out what currently is going on with the site. Current bans, staff members who are away, and anything else you can think of that staff members think you should know will be posted here. Also, the otm polls will be held here.

Pretty self explanatory, wouldn’t you say so? This is a board that is only for staff members, in which they’ll discuss the matters concerning the site.

As everybody knows, this is one of the most important boards. Inside, you will find the face claims and the contact claims. Please, once you've been accepted, be sure to make your claims, because there is nothing staff members can do to keep people from using your pb/contact info unless you claim them.

Plots are what make rping so fun, so the more, the better. And even though you could plot with people you know over im or the cbox, that's not always the best way to do it. So just click, create a thread, tell people about your characters, and see who's interested.

Sometimes, when you create a character, you have a specific plot in mind for it, for which you need other characters. Or, sometimes you decide that your character needs an over protective brother or a slutty sister, because they make everything more fun. Well, when that is the case, this is the board you should visit. Post a thread here about the characters that you need, and see who is interested.

This is a very helpful little board, right here. I know how one might not always have enough muse to a thousand and something post, and yet want to roleplay. That is when this board comes in to the picture. This is the only board you're allowed to write shorter posts, but make sure you read the rules first.

We live in an age of modernity, and sadly, people seldom have the time to actually meet up with another just for the sake of conversing. That is where instant messengers come in - they provide us with a way to communicate with each other without any cost, and from everywhere, now that they can be used through cell phones.

If you are a student at Norwood, it is not possible for you to not know about the insider. It is a hundred and something old gossip tradition, and while it used to operate with small notes pushed under the dorm doors and pinned to the announcement board in the main hall, but know it uses the modern day miracle, the internet, to let its readers know about the current news from the school.

restaurant plaza athénéé,

One of the city's most celebrated restaurants, Plaza Athénée is a work of Ducasse, who's proved himself successful over the years with his Monaco and New York restaurants. The place offers its customers addicting tastes for steep prices, but the food is well worth it.

If you've ever wanted to dance in a basement under the louvre, it doesn't get much classier than this joint patronized by french models, arab businessmen, women with a past, and children of the rich. Dim lighting illuminates black leather furniture, and there are two bars with shiny black or glass surfaces. There is also a trio of different seating areas, all playing house and electro.

a student hangout since the uprising of 1969, this enduring latin quarter favorite attracts a counter-culture clientele; even Johnny Depp has been known to show up. You can lose yIurself here in a "lasso" of blue smoke around the old déglingué piano. ıt's where the paris of yesterday meets the paris of today as piano music graces the night. Music begins on most nights after 8pm. djs play everything from punk to rock; the 80s often live again.

moulin rouge ,

This is a camp classic. The establishment that toulouse-lautrec immortalized is still here, but the artist would probably have a hard time recognizing it. Colette created a scandal here by offering an on-stage kiss to mme de morny, but shows today have a harder time shocking audiences. Try to get a table -- the view is much better on the main floor than from the bar. what's the theme? It's strip routines and the saucy sexiness of la belle epoque, and of permissive paris between the wars.

jardin de la vallee suisse ,

Part of the champs-élysées’ gardens, this “swiss valley” was built from scratch in the late 19th century by the park designer jean-charles adolphe alphand. The lovely space — 1.7 acres of semitamed wilderness in one of the most urban swaths of paris — is home to evergreens, maples, bamboo, lilacs and ivy. There are lemon trees; a mexican orange; and a bush called a wavyleaf silktassel, with drooping flowers. and there is a pond, fed by the seine, whose waterfall pushes away the noise of the streets above.

école normale supérieure ,

The École Normale Supérieure is a French higher education establishment outside the mainstream framework of the public universities system. The ENS was initially conceived during the Revolution, and intended to provide the Republic with a new body of teachers, trained in the critical spirit and secular values of the Enlightenment. It has since developed into an elite institution which does not offer degrees as such, but become the platform for France's brightest young people to pursue high-level careers in government and academia. Its alumni have provided France with scores of philosophers, writers, scientists, statesmen and even churchmen. Among them are 12 laureates of the Nobel Prize and 9 recipients of the Fields medal.

You wake up, open your window, and see the eiffel tower on one side, and the invalides on the other. A cluster of fine restaurants separates your building from the musee d'orsay. You are living in Paris' most celebrated neighborhood, and therefore its most expensive. with real estate prices close to $750 per square foot, only the Parisian crème de la crème live in its stately apartments.

fourteenth arrondissement,

The northern end of this large arrondissement is devoted to montparnasse, home of the "lost generation" and stomping ground of stein, toklas, hemingway, and other american expatriates of the 1920s. After world war ıı, it ceased to be the center of intellectual life, but the memory lingers in its cafes. One of the monuments that sets the tone of the neighborhood is rodin's statue of balzac at the junction of boulevards montparnasse and raspail. At this corner are some of the world's most famous literary cafes, including la rotonde, le select, la dôme, and la coupole. though gertrude stein avoided them (she loathed cafes), other american expats, including hemingway and fitzgerald, had no qualms about enjoying a drink here (or quite a few of them, for that matter). stein stayed at home (27 rue de fleurus) with alice b. toklas, collecting paintings, including those of picasso, and entertaining the likes of max jacob, apollinaire, t. s. eliot, and matisse.

elevent arrondissement ,

The eleventh arrondissement is a varied and engaging area. to the west lies the place de la république, which is linked to the place de la bastille, in the east, by the sweeping, tree-lined boulevard richard-lenoir, with its large markets and children's parks. The place de la bastille and the rue du faubourg st antoine are full of fashionable cafés, restaurants, and nightlife, and they also contain a range of boutiques and galleries. the oberkampf district to the north is another popular area for nightlife. The east is more residential, with more wholesale commerce, while the areas around the boulevard voltaire and the boulevard parmentier are livelier crossroads for the local community.
